OUR STORY
Laboratory Supporting Community
CEA laboratories was opened in October of 2023 as a laboratory to provide environmental and agricultural testing services. The laboratory is situated on Crammond Farm which is located in the countryside near Avoca in County Wicklow. The laboratory supports a small number of local staff and scientists who work together to provide analytical services.

OUR GOALS
Laboratory Supporting Biosustainability
CEA Laboratories aims to promote biosustainability and biodiversity in Ireland. Through the use of scientific tests to provide accurate results, we can ensure that the correct measures are used when interacting with the environment, in both agricultural and corporate environments. For example, certain tests can reduce the amount of fertilizer farmers are required to applied to their fields, which in turn will reduce the potential of fertilizer run-off which can cause potential problems such as eutrophication.

The laboratory also monitors environmental conditions such as temperature, rainfall, soil temperature and more. This data can then be contributed to climatic studies in Ireland.
